Dog owner spends £2k on Dachshund’s wardrobe with 43 pairs of shoes and 47 sunglasses
Owner Lavi Roz has spent around £2,000 on clothes and accessories for her dog Biscuit – but the pampered pooch doesn’t even wear them outside
A dog owner has spent nearly £2,000 on shoes and accessories for her dachshund – and wants to buy even more.
Five-year-old Biscuit has 43 pairs of shoes, 47 pairs of sunglasses as well as a whole wardrobe of colour coordinated clothes with matching hats, wigs and collars.
He has more shoes than his owner Lavi Roz and her fiancé’s put together – with Lavi having 19 pairs and her fiancé with 11.
But that’s not all as the stylish dog even has a pair of Crocs with Swarovski crystals on them.
However, Lavi doesn’t make Biscuit wear his clothes outside – or longer than necessary – as she is doing it all for his social media followers.
Lavi, 32, said: “Biscuit is so patient and gentle, he does whatever I ask him to.
“A video with him wearing shoes takes not more than one minute to make and after that I kiss him and hug him and give him treats.”
Biscuit has gained more than 17,000 Instagram followers thanks to his chic canine style – and has received about 15 million likes on his TikTok videos.
Biscuit already has a big wardrobe for his bits and bobs, but Lavi says there are so many items, they actually need another to fit everything in.
The large collection has accumulated over the past two years, but it’s only in the past six months that Lavi has really focused on Biscuit’s lavish style and ever-growing collection.
Lavi added: “I create the outfits in the moment. I bought all the colours of the mini Crocs that I could find and I combined them with a different pair of pants.”
The majority of Biscuit’s clothes are from the children’s section in stores. His four-legged brother, named Snitel, rarely wears his shoes because they are not the same shoe size. Snitel is two-years-old so is yet to grow into his big brother’s shoes.
Lavi, from Piatra Neamt in Romania, has also collected over 47 pairs of sunglasses without lenses which Biscuit will wear.
She said: “I was always fascinated with how oversized glasses looked on a dog, that is why he has so many pairs.
“I never made him wear a pair of eyeglasses or sunglasses with lenses because it would make him feel uncomfortable.”
Lavi says Biscuit’s favourite thing to do is smell fresh grass and have a snooze, but there’s no denying the dachshund is a full-time fashionista.
